Kiyosu Kaigi will release on November 9, 2013

I already wrote about this movie last year but, yay~ finally the released date has announced! :)

Kiyosu Kaigi (Kiyosu Conference)is Matsuyama Kenichi’s new movie. If “Haru wo Seotte” will release next year, this movie will release this year on Nov 9! :)

This movie based on the director, Mitani Koki’s historic novel of the same name.

The historic story revolves around a conference at Kiyosu Castle between Shibata Katsuie, Hashiba Hideyoshi, Niwa Nagahide, and Ikeda Tsuneoki after the Honnoji incident and the death of Oda Nobunaga. Succession of leadership and the redistribution of the territories is up for discussion and so the story begins.

Mitani has stated that the movie will naturally contain his trademark humor, but he is also aiming to make the movie more of a human drama revolving around the characters who have staked their lives.

The filming is already begins from November last year.

Matsuyama Kenichi will play as Hori Hidemasa. He’s not the leading actor in this movie but well, the director has bluntly announced that he aims for ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the Academy Awards. 

I mean.. its ok if he only as a supporting actor since the movie is good, right? :)

[RUMOR] Matsuken will be a villain in TV Asahi SP Drama (55th Anniv of TV Asahi), “Orinpikku no Minoshirokin”.

its still rumor bcos they also mentions Matsuda Shota’s name. and i only found one source. just wait and see ;)

Kenichi Matsuyama in a starring role with Braun.

He’s talented, charismatic, blessed with model looks, and his acting career is expanding at a phenomenal rate. Kenichi Matsuyama’s success is more than impressive.
